Our offshore factories :
We
have two
production sites – one in the Fujian province of China, and the other in
Hochiminh City Vietnam. The annual combined capacity amounts to approximately
400,000 tents. Our factories are fully owned and operate on a permanent running
basis and take into consideration our employees’ best interests. The working
environments in our factories are spacious, pleasant, well lit and tidy. Our
factory buildings are made of concrete and steel. Note this distinct difference
from the many temporarily built wooden, bamboo or metal-sheet buildings which
you can see quite often in Asia. Some of our customers have even commented that
our factory look like gardens! We hope that by providing our employees with
pleasant work surroundings we can increase productivity, escalate product
quality and minimize the turnover of workers. After all, the attainment of high
quality calls for skilled sewers and the experience accumulation calls for
stable work force.
The
factory management is equally important in achieving this. In addition to our
experience in managing processional productions, we have incorporated advanced
production and QA experiences, which some of our customers have exposed us to
and trained us. There are quality checkpoints in every stage of the production
in an effort to ensure the products received by customers are
flawless.
Since 2000, we have also actively joined our customers’ factory auditing projects. The prime purpose of factory audit is to ensure that our factory operations meet advanced countries’ standards in every aspect, including worker human rights, production safety, compensation, management, even working environment. Whatever audit criteria, not only did Tai Chung pass all the audits, but also did the best by far among Asian factories of same class. This is something any customer, especially well-know companies like yours, should consider.
